China's first commercial pedestrian street with selenium characteristics, integrated with tourism, leisure, entertainment, shopping, built by Kaiyang County of Guizhou Province, will be opened on September 22 this year.

Kaiyang County, belonging to Guiyang City of Guizhou Province, has the reputation of ‘the hometown of Chinese prose poem’, ‘the hometown of China's selenium-rich agricultural products’, ‘China's green phosphorus capital’ and ‘Karst Ecological World Park’. It’s the first demonstration base county of phosphorus coal chemical industry in circular economy and the powerful economic county of Guizhou Province. About 99.91% of the county's soil is rich in selenium, and the advantage of selenium resources is prominent. It is a rare natural and moderate selenium rich area in China.

According to statistics, at present there is 140 shops entering the commercial pedestrian street with selenium characteristics, and the employers added 300 jobs. more than 300 new jobs. Annual turnover is expected to be over 300 million yuan.
