Organized by the China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation and the People’s Government of Ankang City in Shaanxi Province, hosted by the Ankang Selenium-Rich Industry Development Office, Functional Agricultural Products Committee of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation, Ankang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Ankang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the 2nd China Selenium-Rich Tea Competition & 2021 Ankang International Forum for Tea Industry Development has been held successfully from June 10th to June 11th of 2021 in Ankang City of Shaanxi Province. The guests and experts from the Sri Lanka Embassy, Nepal Embassy, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zhejiang University and other institutes from China participated in this activity. Mr. Lu Qi, the Deputy Mayor of the People's Government of Ankang City, and Mr. Lv Mingyi, the Former Deputy Chief Editor of Farmers' Daily, the Vice Chairman of China Association for the Promotion of International Agricultural Cooperation delivered a speech on the forum.

There is 198 tea samples from 15 provinces and cities of China recommended to attend the 2nd China Selenium-Rich Tea Competition. After the preliminary evaluation, about 143 tea samples are qualified to be judged by the judges from China, Nepal and Sri Lanka. After the evaluation on June 10th, 100 tea samples got the prize, including 14 special awards, 30 gold awards, and 56 silver awards.
